We meet weekly at Cartlands Tearoom in Kings Heath Park, Birmingham. Class is at 10.30am weekly, during term time. It's a pay as you go class. We learn and have fun together. We sing songs together, we play instruments and we have quite a fiesta!!!
We sing nursery rhymes together and each song has accompanying pictures and lyrics on my laptop. The lyrics help the adults to join in so even if you don't speak Spanish when you start you will be able to sing in Spanish by the time you leave!
I'm always developing the class to keep children engaged and learning Spanish across a broad range of ages. I'll regularly include a parachute song, direction songs, hands on activities and songs to support Spanish numbers, colours, language and rhythm. I want to embed coordination and cooperation and language assimilation into each class :)
